M. Ruffin is qualified to serve on our Board because of his extensive experience with capital formation, strategy, and alliance-building in the biotechnology and healthcare industries.

Background

M. Ruffin founded and scaled several key industry organizations in the biotechnology and precision medicine sector. He is the co-founder of Biotechnology Industry Organization, also known simply as BIO, the world’s largest alliance of biotechnology companies and research institutions in 30+ countries. He built BIO’s global business development and investor outreach, helping companies raise capital and identify strategic partnering and licensing opportunities. He is the founder of Alliance for Regenerative Medicine (ARM), Managing Partner of Adjuvant Partners, and Co-Founder of the Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare (AAIH). Prior to his work in the private sector, he worked for US Senator Arlen Specter for five years as his senior legislative assistant.
