Qualifications

W. J. Wolfe is qualified to serve on our Board because of his extensive experience in corporate governance, capital formation, strategic planning, and U.S. retail. He is a voting board member of Bento Bio, representing the interests of the Lupus Research Alliance.

Background

W. J. Wolfe is on the Board of the Lupus Research Alliance and Lupus Therapeutics and has been instrumental in uniting the lupus community to form an unprecedented global research enterprise. He has been a leader in advancing lupus research to improve treatment since his daughter Jacqueline Wolfe Maggi was diagnosed many years ago. He is the co-founder, President, and CEO of First Washington Realty (FWR), a fully integrated, national real estate investment and management firm that specializes in the ownership of convenience, necessity, and experience-oriented retail real estate. FWR currently owns over 150 shopping centers located in 22 states and the District of Colombia, containing approximately 20 million square feet with approximately 4,100 tenants. Prior to entering the real estate business, he served in the Executive Office of the President of the United States and has chaired major capital campaigns for Fight for Children, Jewish Foundation for Group Homes, and Super Leaders.
